ANZMet Lite

ANZMet Lite is a Windows tool creating, editing, uploading and downloading GeoNetwork records. See http://anzlicmet.bluenet.utas.edu.au/ for some introductory information and a link to the software.

For working with the AusCover GeoNetwork instance, use the "BASIC ISO19115/19139 (ANZLIC) SUPPORT" version (i.e, anzmetlite-anzlic-1.5.zip).

Connecting ANZMet Lite to AusCover GeoNetwork

  1. Select the Met Settings button.
  2. Select Geonetwork Settings (requires Internat connection) button.
  3. GeoNetwork Host Name = http://mest.auscover.org.au
  4. Usename and Password are required. These are only available to AusCover metadata creators.
  5. Select Test Connection. You should see a "MET was able to login successfully" message.

    • If not, test your username and password at http://mest.auscover.org.au. If you can login at the URL by not from ANZMet Lite then raise the issue with us.
    • If you can not login at the URL either, then the Username and Password you're using are not valid. Please contact us to discuss.
  6. Select OK twice to exit back to the main ANZMet Lite window.

Create new or Edit existing records

  1. If you have been able to connect to GeoNetwork, then you can download records.
  2. If you can connect to the AusCover webdav server (http://data.auscover.org.au/webfs), then you can open the records from there.
  3. Otherwise you will have to create local copies of records.
