Northern Australia Fire Managers Forum - Darwin, 19-20 June 2013

Attendees

  • Stefan
  • Ian
  • Matt
  • Bek Christensen (TERN)

Aim

  • Present data for this year, or data we think may be useful.
  • Describe broader fire related products.
  • Receive feedback on products, formats and access methods.

Notes:

  • AusCover system is under development, two years into a three project.
  • They will likely use NAFI, with data from Landgate and Sentinel.
    • Stefan reports that a new version of NAFI based on Geoserver is under development .
    • Want our data and servies to be easy to connect to, as a user and via NAFI.
    • NAFI should be compatible with AusCover.

An earlier idea to hold a AusCover data user's workshop for Darwin adjacent to the Fire Managers Forum has been postponed until August/September 2013. Alex, Peter and Stefan will coordinate to find a new date for the Darwin data user's workshop.
