Overview

This data set provides pixel flagged information regarding the presence of cloud. After the application of various algorithms and spectral tests, the pixels can be classified as cloudy, maybe cloudy, maybe clear or clear. Further information about this data set can be found here.

This product is generated from the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) instrument aboard the EOS satellites; Terra (morning descending orbit) and Aqua (afternoon ascending orbit).
